Who We Are

Jared's Fund was established by the family of Jared Zimmerman (1995-2016) to celebrate his spirit.  Jared's Fund's mission is to challenge the stigma associated with mental illness, especially by enabling young people to lead such efforts.

Jared's Fund Youth Fellowship

Jared's Fund Youth Fellowship provides summer funding to Montclair High School students and recent alumni to pursue projects that focus on mental health.  JFYF is advised by a board of Jared's friends and family, medical professionals and educators.  Applications for the second cohort of fellows will be due in Spring 2020.   

Farm and Wilderness Campership

The Jared Zimmerman Farm & Wilderness campership covers full tuition for a New Jersey native to attend this Quaker-based summer camp located in Vermont (ages 8-17).
